Off-ramp payment purposes

payment_purpose tells the receiving bank why the money is moving. Banks in the destination country use it for their own reporting. It is required on every off-ramp to a bank account, domestic or international. Using the codes

Don’t display the raw values to your users. Start from the suggested labels below and map them to wording that fits your product and audience.
Retail products should offer the full list. If you want to offer a narrower set, talk to the Bastion team first.

Each code covers a range of related payments. Pick the closest match.
If more than one could apply, pick the one that describes the underlying obligation rather than the mechanism. A consultant who bills travel as part of their fee is ADVISORY_FEES, not TRAVEL.
